About the program
The CoW Grants Program is run by a committee of CoW DAO. Under the 2026 mandate (CIP-82) it focuses on developer onboarding through documentation and SDKs, partnerships with protocols that use CoW Protocol's MEV protection, and new applications such as programmatic orders and cross-chain trading.
There is no deadline. You post an application on the CoW forum using the grant template, discuss it with the community and an assigned steward, then move it to Snapshot, where the committee votes over three days. The committee also publishes RFPs for work it wants done, such as UI localization or a bring-your-own-solver setup.
Grants can be milestone-based, time-based or a mix. Recent applications include a Viem and Wagmi migration of the CoW Swap frontend split into seven milestones of 3,100 to 5,000 xDAI, a 50,000 xDAI SDK proposal, and a community-built Rust SDK paid out by assessed contribution.

Discuss and refine
Answer community and committee feedback and work with your assigned steward.
Snapshot vote
Move the final proposal to Snapshot, where committee members vote for three days and 3 of 4 must approve.
Deliver milestones
Request a review on the forum when each milestone is done; payments go out at the end of each month.
