About the program

Golem Factory, the company behind the Golem decentralized compute network, staked 40,000 ETH to fund its ecosystem, and 75% of the staking rewards go to grantees. The fund backs projects that extend the Golem Network, improve its tooling or security, or use it as core infrastructure, and it also accepts contributions to the wider Ethereum ecosystem.

Funded projects include Web3 Pi (running Ethereum nodes on a Raspberry Pi), Clan (peer-to-peer machine management on NixOS), Satori (distributed ZK proving on Golem) and Vanity Market (vanity address generation on Golem compute). Golem also publishes RFPs on GitHub for specific work.

There is no fixed deadline. You send an application with your idea, budget breakdown, timeline and track record, and approved projects are paid in tranches as milestones are completed.
